Elio Pace at The Liverpool Philharmonic
I've always wanted to see Billy Joel live and was gutted when he couldn't do his show at Anfield in 2025.
So I went to see Elio Pace perform the Billy Joel Songbook at the Liverpool Philharmonic on Wednesday 1st April. And boy did he perform it. He sold out 1,500 seats 3 nights in a row and the audience loved it, as did I.
I know there have been posters on here slating the show, saying there was too much talking. But the thing is, the guy knew what he was talking about, and I found it fascinating to hear the story behind the songs.
He is a showman, and a phenomenal musician, with a personality everyone loved.
