Brilliant

The set and staging was amazing, the dancers/ actors brilliant at conveying their feelings with expressions and movements only. By far and away my favourite Mattew Bourne production that I've seen so far. The comedy elements and characters added levity to what could have been an overly morose subject. Although a sad ending, I left the theatre with a big smile on my face! ... Read more

A whimsical delight - incredible

This was my first time ever seeing a Mathew Bourne ballet and what an incredible show it was to behold. A feast for the eyes, quirky and beautifully choreographed. I would 100% recommend Edward Scissorhands to anyone, and everyone! It was a true delight and something very special. ... Read more

Wonderful

I saw Edward Scissorhands for a second time today, at Bristol hippodrome. I saw the show in December at Sadler’s wells in london. The performance today in Bristol was outstanding, Liam Mower was brilliant as Edward Scissorhands and the cast were fabulous. We were engrossed and emotional by the end. This was in strong contrast to the show in London which was disappointing, with different actors/dancers playing Edward and Kim, there was no buzz, less dancing, the whole show fell flat. I am so pleased that by happenstance I got to see this show again, it truly is wonderful, what a difference the right cast brings to it. ... Read more
